Catching up on the week
Good morning! I hope you're having a good weekend. It's my last weekend here in Iquitos! I have a lott of small tasks to get down which shouldn't take that long but definitely will.
Maya is loving her sand pile bed, somehow the bricks were a welcome addition? Also, yes, that's a deconstructed doll in the background.. I have no idea..
There are a bunch of woman who started doing manicures at the park near my apartment, so I tried it out. She told me she was going to do a flower on the middle finger and then "French" on the others.. this is what I ended up with.
Elvis took me to this Pollo a la brasa, which he says is the oldest one in Iquitos. 1/4 chicken and so many fries! Was delicious, but do not recommend to eat this before playing volleyball.. haha!
Vaquita got her check-up and documents to travel done!
Friday we celebrated Mother's Day at the lab! Mother's Day is quite the important holiday around here.
I went to spend some time with Alejandra and say goodbye. I haven't seen her in a few weeks because she's been busy at kindergarten, doctors appointments, and her braille classes. She got so tall this month!!!
